MW Rock Festival draws inspiration from the rise of popularity of music festivals in China, which the owner of Milkyway Keys has been thoroughly enjoying attending. Attending music festivals allows people to temporarily forget quotidian worries and instead connect with all of the other festival attendees coming together to celebrate the enjoyment of music.

Color inspiration came from a poster of the 1988 Roskilde Festival in Denmark featuring concrete colors and a gorgeous green accent providing a very basic graphic above the festival title and impressive headliner lineup of Sting, Bryan Adams, and Leonard Cohen. Milkyway’s transparent keycaps are also the headliner at this show, as a default compared to the typical opaque keycaps making up the base kit. This was specifically chosen as music makes the owner of Milkyway Keys feel more transparent and open. Additional accents were further provided reminiscent of the neon colors seen from glow-in-the-dark accessories worn at just about every festival. These accented caps are also relegendables, allowing for even further customization!
