DK Creamery’s Red Velvet are silent tactiles to make you melt. These silent tactiles feature intricate TPE silencers within the stem rails to minimize noise during each keystroke allowing you to enjoy your delicious switches without bothering those around you! They feature minimal pre-travel and a well-rounded short tactile bump to provide a gentle and satisfying tactility. The switches also boast the classic combination of polycarbonate top housings, nylon bottom housing, and POM stems to further elevate the typing experience!

      Once I ordered these and found out i love them i was quick to grab the remaining amount i needed to complete my numpad build aswell!

      Comfortable & Quiet

      This is my second time buying switches from Dangkeebs. I didn’t think a silent switch could get any better than their Cookie Dough linears, but these Red Velvet tactiles are satisfying in a whole new way. I put them in a Keychron Q6 QMK (aluminum board), and paired it with PBTfans Count Dracula keycaps (ABS), and the resulting sound profile is very quiet, with a very slight whispery mushiness (which I enjoy). The operation force is perfect - heavy enough that I can appreciate the tactile feel, but not so heavy that my fingers get fatigued on them all day (this is my daily driver at work). An added bonus buying Dangkeebs switches is always the packaging and the stickers. I’d buy every ice cream carton of switches if I could.
      Highly recommended!

      Good sound dampening and nicely lubed

      Really good sound dampening and the light lubing makes typing feel smooth and effortless. I generally prefer a heavier tactile feeling, but the sound dampening adds a different typing experience that might feel pretty good for folks who prefer a light tactile.
